Udinese plan on keeping slumping striker Luis Muriel next season chief executive Franco Soldati confirmed.
The Colombian has scored only four goals in Serie A this season and has failed to combine well with star strikerAntonio Di Natale.
“I would tell him that he will stay with us,” Soldati told Radio Goal when asked what would happen if Aurelio De Laurentiis requested him the striker.
“He was there at the unveiling of the new kits and we want to start afresh from him next year.”
Udinese are also trying to convince Di Natale not to retire at the end of the season despite his announcement earlier this season that he would hang up his boots.
