Valencia are refusing to budge on the fixed buy-out clause in AC Milan’s on-loan defender Adil Rami.

The 28 year old French international has been in impressive form for Milan since joining in January from the Spanish club, and they have an option to purchase him outright if they want to.

AS report that Valencia president Amadeo Salvo has no intention of reducing the €7 million buyout clause for Rami despite Milan director Adriano Galliani’s persistence to reduce the fee.

The option to purchase Rami for €7 million expires on the 31st of May, and Galliani will have to make a choice sooner or later whether to pay the full amount or to let the defender return to his parent club.

Rami has made 15 appearances for the Diavolo in all competitions this season, scoring three goals.
