Marco Borriello will return to Roma at the end of the season as West Ham have decided not to make the move permanent.

The 31-year-old striker joined the Hammers in January, and has made only two appearances, against Aston Villa and Norwich, also failing to score.

According toThe Mirror, West Ham officials have already communicated to Roma management that they will not exercise their option to buy the forward.

Rudi Garcia sporadically used Borriello during the first half of the season, when Mattia Destro was out injured, making just six Serie A starts.
