AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy has once again expressed his desire to remain with the Italian giants.

The 21-year-old has had an injury hit campaign and has been restricted to only six Serie A appearances over the entire season.

The pacey youngster has been linked with a move away from Milan since last summer, after his form dipped at the end of the 2012/13 season. However, Il Pharaone, as he is called by the Rossoneri faithful, has once again reiterated his determination to fight for his own place in the Milan starting XI.

“My future is with Milan, I’ll stay with AC Milan,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“The goal for next season is to do well in the league and try to finish first.

“The Azzurri? I have many many more chances to play with them without being hampered by injury and relapse. I have done all that I can, and I don’t regret anything.

“My dip in form last season? Expectations were raised of me and it wasn’t easy for me to keep up with the pace everybody wanted me at, but I think I kept up the pace well, albeit I was missing a few goals.

“As for my injury, I was very unlucky but I am glad that I made a return before the end of the season. It was important for me to play the last two league games.

“Seedorf? I am convinced that he did well, recently we have collected some good results.

“My relationship with him is very good, both as a player and a coach.

He concluded with a statement on the mentality of the team.

“In the locker room, we are all united and look toward the same direction.

“We only focus on the field and not on corporate events.”
