Davide Ballardini has conceded that Bologna are mortified after being relegated from Serie A.
The Rossoblu lost 2-1 to Catania on Sunday, but with both Chievo and Sassuolo winning, Bologna and the Elefanti were demoted to Serie B.
“I have nothing to say,” the tactician told Rai Sport.
“Bologna are relegated. We are mortified.
“Bologna are a great club and will return to the level they deserve.
“Today’s game was a summary of Bologna’s entire season. Bologna will have to learn from the mistake made.”
