Benitez - NapoliNapoli coach Rafael Benitez was happy with his team’s performance against Sampdoria and he is hoping that his team can score 100 goals for the season.

The Partenopei thrashed the Blucerchiati 5-2 and Benitez still wants his team to be more prolific in front of goal.

“The objective is 100 goals, we have made 99 this year,” Benitez told Rai Sport. “Today [there were] so many positive things for us.

“Hamsik’s injury? We will see tomorrow, but I do not think it’s something important.”

For all the praise he has given his attack, Benitez has not been too impressed with the way his defence has played in his first season as Napoli coach.

“This year I did not really like the defensive phase a lot, intended as a team and not as individuals,” said Benitez.

“We need to improve there and the team will be even stronger.

“We try always with the quality, then think about the quantity.”
