With the regular league season now at an end in the Primavera after 26 rounds of exciting action, the best young sides in the peninsula are readying themselves for crunch time.

This Wednesday night, May 7th, four quarter-finals will take place as they look to reach the ‘false’ semi-final stage.

Inter take on Empoli, AC Milan battle Udinese, Novara go up against Palermo and Roma clash with Sampdoria.

The four victors will then reach a semi-final stage in which the two winners will join the six best sides in the country based on their league form this season for the ‘proper’ quarter-final phase.

At that stage, the last two left standing of the current group will take on Group A winners Torino and runners up Juventus, Group B’s best Chievo and second placed Atalanta as well as the same scenario in Group C where table toppers Lazio are joined by Fiorentina.
