Cagliari coach Ivo Pulga bemoaned his side’s loss to Chievo at home on Sunday afternoon.

Despite already safely remaining in Serie A next season, the Rossoblu were left disappointed after a late goal from the Flying Donkeys gave them a much needed three points and prevented them from relegation.

“We were not able to truly find our rhythm during the match,” he stated to Rai Sport following the game.

“Although we dominated the match, Chievo were able to grab a goal off a corner kick. But overall, I’m proud of my team, they played well and created some chances here and there.”

Pulga also went on to discuss ongoing developments within the club and his wish to see things change next season.

“What would I like for next year? A new stadium, because I feel that Cagliari deserves to play in a good stadium.”
