Conte: Juventus have done something amazing

Antonio Conte has congratulated his players on achieving something amazing after the broke the Serie A points record with their win against Roma.

The Bianconeri now have 99 points, breaking the record of 97 set by Roberto Mancini’s Inter in 2007.

“My players are celebrating because we are doing something amazing,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have another chance to break another record. We won at the home of out main title rivals and only a great Juve could continue on like this.

“Juventus are in a fascinating three-year cycle and have down something historic and I am proud to be coach of this team.

“The third title is amazing and now we want to get 100 points.”

The tactician was then asked about his future with the club after indicating he may not stay beyond the summer.

“I have had three fantastic years in which asked things of the club and my players, and I have always been satisfied,” he continued.

“I have won the Champions League as a player and I will win it as a coach. At this time, Juve aren’t in a position to win it.

“I think what I had to say, I said to the club and soon we will have some clarity. I will clarify my position in the coming days.”
