Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Ante Coric has declared his desire to join AC Milan should he move to Italy.

The 16 year-old has rejoined the Croatian side from Red Bull Salzburg having spent a season with them at youth level.

Speaking to Calciomercato.com the precocious young talent has revealed his only destination in Italy would be Milan.

“Right now I play for Dinamo Zagreb and I’m happy. I’m just thinking about playing well and then we will see what happens.

“I am now in the first team and I have big plans at Dinamo. For the future we’ll see. My favourite club in Italy is Milan.”

Inter star Mateo Kovacic is another product of Dinamo Zagreb’s academy and would likely face Coric in the Milan derby.

“Yes, I’d like that, that would be a dream. We both grew up in Austria and I think we have similar stories,” he continued.

“Since I was little I’ve been a fan of AC Milan. I liked Zvone [Zvonimir] Boban, who grew up in Croatia and played for Dinamo Zagreb.

“I loved [Clarence] Seedorf as a player and I love him now as a coach,” the young attacking midfielder concluded.

Coric is not short of suitors with Barcelona keen to bring him to the Camp Nou alongside teammate Alen Halilovic.
