English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are considering Napoli coach Rafael Benitez as their next manager.
Benitez’s Napoli side are fresh off their Coppa Italia win and are currently ahead of their rivals in the race for the last Champions League place with three matches remaining in the season. This has led to Spurs’ interest in the former Liverpool man.
Tottenham are also interested in Ajax coach Frank De Boer and Southampton’s Mauricio Pochettino to replace current man in charge Tim Sherwood. Sherwood took over early this season for Andre Villas-Boas.
Benitez was in charge of Premier League side Chelsea in 2012/13 and led the Blues to the Europa League final where the club defeated Benfica. It is believed Benitez is highly interested in returning to the Premier League and could be tempted by an offer from Tottenham.
