Fiorentina have reportedly opened talks with Atalanta over the transfer of Giacomo Bonaventura.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Viola during the second half of the season, and last week he admitted that the current campaign could be his last in Bergamo.

La Nazione reports that negotiations are well underway between the two clubs, and that a fee of €10 million is being demanded.

It is understood that Fiorentina directors Daniele Prade and Eduardo Macia would prefer a part exchange involving one of Rafal Wolski, Marko Bakic or Ante Rebic.

Comfortable in both midfield and attack Bonaventura has been a key player for La Dea in recent years, making over 130 appearances in all competitions.
