Fiorentina are favourites to sign right-back Sime Vrsaljko from Genoa, according to reports.
The future of the 21-year-old has been the subject of much speculation after an impressive first season at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Broadcaster Italia 7 reports that Fiorentina are in pole position to land the Croatian international ahead of rivals Juventus and AC Milan.
It is also suggested that any deal would involve the co-ownership of Viola right-back Cristiano Piccini, who has made 19 appearances on loan at Livorno in Serie A this season.
Vrsaljko, who can also play at left-back, has featured on 21 occasions this season for the Grifone since a €4 million move last summer, and has 5 caps for Croatia.
