Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin was pleased with his team’s 2-2 draw with Verona on Saturday and stated he was looking forward to their final game at home next Sunday.
The Bianconeri currently sit 13th in the table and host Sampdoria in next week’s season finale.
“We conceded a goal in the first half without [allowing] a shot on goal [and] this has affected our performance in the first half,” he told Udinese Channel after the match.
“Then we changed and I had fun today.
“[Emmanuel] Badu? He is maturing and this year he has given so much.”
Guidolin also thanked the away fans and urged them to fill the stadium for next week’s home match.
“Applause also to our fans who have seen a team play with great effort.
“I hope that Sunday is a holiday and many people come to the stadium.”
