Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has attracted the interest of both AC Milan and rivals Inter ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Bosnian international is expected to take part in the 2014 World Cup and will be looking to demonstrate his talent on the big stage.

According to TuttoMercatoweb, the Rossoneri and the Nerazzurri look set to battle it out for Begovic’s signature in June.

Milan are seeking a replacement for the ageing Christian Abbiati while Inter could decide to cash in on Samir Handanovic.

Stoke City have England Under-21 Jack Butland waiting in the wings should they sell the former Portsmouth shot-stopper.

Having spent some time out on loan Butland will be putting pressure on Stoke to field him in the first team next season.

Begovic has played 33 games in all competitions this season scoring a rare goal against Southampton in the league.
