Behrami napoliInter have in principle agreed with Napoli the details of a transfer to take Switzerland midfielder Valon Behrami to the Nerazzurri.

A deal has been sorted between the two clubs and now the move just needs to be given the green light from Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis before being made official.

According to SportMediaset, the Biscione are willing to pay around €6 million for Behrami.

It had been previously reported that the Partenopei wanted €8m to recoup the fee they paid Fiorentina for Behrami in 2012 but the clubs have managed to reach a consensus.

The player has agreed a contract that will keep him in Milan up until 2017 with a salary worth €1.8m per season excluding bonuses and that would mark a pay rise of €500,000 a year pay rise for Behrami.

Behrami started 16 times for Napoli in the 2013-14 Serie A season but struggled with injury and extra competition in the midfield slots following the arrival of Jorginho in January from Hellas Verona.

Behrami had previously been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.
