Inter may attempt to sign Adel Taarabt from Queens Park Rangers before AC Milan can make his loan deal a permanent transfer.

Nerazzurri owner Erik Thohir and director Piero Ausilio were in London this week and inquired about the midfielder’s availability.

According to Rai Sport, QPR are would rather complete a permanent transfer with a fee of around €7 million already agreed with the Rossoneri, though they are haggling over the fee which could allow Inter to swoop in and complete a deal.

It is thought that Inter offered striker Ishak Belfodil to entice the English club to make the deal, as they tried to sign thr Algerian in January but he instead ended up at Livorno.

Taarabt came to Milan during the January transfer window after stint in Fulham. During his short time at the San Siro, the Moroccan international has been a major contributor to the Rossoneri, scoring four times in only 12 appearances.

A major impediment to any deal by Inter could be the player’s own inclinations as he has stated frequently his affection for Milan.
