Cesare Prandelli - ItalyAzzurri coach Cesare Prandelli said that Italy reached its lowest point with the incidents in the Coppa Italia final.

He urged the authorities to intervene as other countries have already done.

“Maybe we hit rock bottom,” Prandelli told Sky Sport on Friday. “We should replicate the English model; the game has to be the protagonist.

“The nice thing about the final was that the two teams played really good football, without being conditioned.

“There was a strong sense of responsibility from all the players.”

He raved about the possibility of working abroad in the future.

“The foreign countries fascinate everybody, because all the time I speak with colleagues that coach abroad, they have a smile that we have forgotten.

“They always say that there is the possibility to have a private life and do the work you love at the same time.

“Maybe there is too much pressure in Italy, I would like to have this experience one day.”
