Juventus coach Antonio Conte said that they are not afraid of Benfica, even though they respect the Portuguese team.

Juventus need to win at home to reach the Europa League final that will be played in Turin.

“For how I live the matches, the next one is always the most important,” Conte replied in the pre-game press conference when asked about the importance of this game.

“I do not have a chart, the goal is always one: win.”

It is the first time that Juventus need to comeback after the result of the first leg.

“We will have to interpret the game well, we know what we have to do and I will make my choices considering all the minutes we will have to play.

“These games last for 180 minutes.

“Juventus Stadium will play with us.”

He gave an update on the health of Arturo Vidal, who might start the game.

“Arturo trained, what I said before the Sassuolo match turned out to be true.

“You will discover my choices on Thursday.”

He discussed the match at Estadio Da Luz.

“Juventus made an excellent game in Lisbon, but conceding after few minutes is destabilising.

“Benfica played a lot on the counter-attacking game and in the second half we could have scored more by being more accurate.

“The result of the first leg is a liar, we will have to be good in attacking and even better in preventing them from doing their game.”

He was asked whether they are afraid of the opponent.

“We do not know the word fear, but we respect Benfica.

“To get here, we had an exalting and extraordinary path and we know we deserved to play this semi-final.

“Our fans and we deserve this game.”

He concluded by speaking of Carlos Tevez, who finally broke his European curse.

“His season is good, it will become outstanding if we get to the final, this is an intermediate step.

“He brought personality and charisma.

“The coach of Argentina will have to evaluate well, he should be taken into consideration, I would struggle to leave him at home.”
