Chelsea are reportedly interested in Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner in view of a possible summer move.
The 30-year old right-back has made at least 27 Serie A appearances for the Bianconeri in their three consecutive championship seasons and scored a total of eight goals.
According to the website Tio.ch, Jose Mourinho himself insists on the purchase of the Swiss international as the London-based club are willing to make an offer in the vicinity of €8 million while offering the player a three-year contract with a yearly wage of €3m.
Before making an official enquiry, however, the Blues will have to wait for the outcome of the current contract renewal negotiations between the Vecchia Signora and the former Lazio player.
