Juventus are near signing Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez but are keeping Manchester United’s Nani as a backup plan.

Coach Antonio Conte is seeking a winger to give the Bianconeri the flexibility in their forward line.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Bianconeri want to add attacking talent to switch to a 4-3-3 formation and Sanchez is the top choice.

However, there is a €20 million gap in valuation between the two clubs for the 25-year-old Chilean.

Manchester United’s Nani is a second choice for the club if they cannot reach agreement with Barcelona. The 27-year-old, who has played for the Red Devils since 2007, has been linked with a move away from the Premier League side with the Bianconeri and PSG being named as his most likely destinations.

It is also believed that midfielders Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal are not being offered to teams, but could be moved if a high offer comes in. Leonardo Bonucci also may be sacrificed especially if the rumored Monaco interest results in a satisfactory offer.

Other players Juventus are watching include Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia and Defensor Sporting defender Gaston Silva, while also monitoring the situation regarding Antonio Candreva of Lazio and Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra.
