Juventus representatives were in Milan on Wednesday as they met with Sergio Berti, the agent of Manchester City’s Alexander Kolarov.

The Serbian left back is a target for the Bianconeri as boss Antonio Conte looks to strengthen his squad as the former Lazio defender could find himself missing Champions League football for a season as the Manchester club will have their squad cut as part of their Financial Fair Play penalty.

Juventus directors Giuseppe Marotta and director Fabio Paratici met with the players agent according to Sky Sport Italia as the 28 year old Serbian has one year left on his current deal and has attracted attention from clubs all over Europe with the likes of AC AC Milan, Inter, Monaco all expressing an interest.

Roma recently ruled themselves out of making an offer for the player due to his high wages after initially expressing an interest.

Kolarov had been second-choice left-back behind Gael Clichy last season but has featured more frequently since Manuel Pellegrini replaced Roberto Mancini as manager and has made 41 appearances in the current campaign.
