AC Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari said he believes Europa League qualification is still an achievable target for the Rossoneri.
After defeating rivals Inter 1-0 thanks to a goal from Nigel de Jong on Sunday, Milan now sit only 3 points behind their rivals in 5th place with two games remaining.
Speaking on Monday to milannews.it, Muntari had the following to say: “Today is a great day because yesterday we won the derby. The coach has been under pressure in recent weeks but we do not focus on that. We will always give 100% for Seedorf.
“The Europa League is an achievable objective as we come to the end of the season. However, our competitors are also in with a chance of securing qualification. That said Milan is a club that must have European football every season. Next year I’m confident that we will have a successful championship.”
Milan face Atalanta away in their next fixture before ending the season at home against Sassuolo on the 18th May.
