Andrea Pirlo Juventus midfielder hailed coach after having beat the previous point-record in Serie A with 102.

The Bianconeri were victorious over Cagliari to make it 19 wins in 19 home matches and to surpass the 100 point mark.

“We beat every record, amassed 102 points and it will be almost impossible for anyone to repeat that,” Pirlo told Sky Sport Italia.

“This was an extraordinary campaign and crowned by this victory.”

Fans spent much of the second half waving banners and calling for Antonio Conte to remain with the club past this season.

“It was a lovely show of affection from the crowd towards Conte and we hope it can all be resolved over the next few days.

“Much of the credit for these trophies goes to Conte, as he picked up a team fresh from finishing seventh twice and won three Scudetti in a row,” he concluded.
