Pjanic – Roma

After signing a contract extension until 2018, Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has high aspirations for the Giallorossi believing that the club can aim even higher and will no doubt want another Scudetto battle with Juventus next season.

The 24-year-old reiterated that it was the positive attitude he found around the club that had initially enticed him to the Giallorossi and with Rudi Garcia helping to bring a winning feeling back to the club aided his decision to renew.

“Roma are a great experience for me because I did not know anything before you arrive,” Pjanic told Sky Sport Italia.

“When I got here all I saw was very positive, that was one thing that surprised me and made me rejoice that I had made the right choice.

“At the time [former coach] Luis Enrique was there and that was I wanted, as well as the whole club, and today I find it really positive.

“I’ve extended and I think it’s a nice project, we can aim high.”
