Real Madrid full back Fabio Coentrao has reportedly decided to switch from La Liga to Serie A this summer with Inter his preferred destination.
The 26 year old left full back has been linked with a number of clubs including English Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United.
The former Benfica player, who has a contract until 2017 with the Real, has instructed his agent Jorge Mendes of his decision to accept Inter’s offer of a summer move, and according to Fichajes.net, the agent and player have already discussed his future with the Madrid hierarchy and will now inform them that Inter is his preference.
The Portuguese defender has made over 4o appearances for Madrid since 2011 but has fallen behind Marcelo as first choice left back for the Merengues.
