Former Pescara head coach Zdenek Zeman could be set for a summer return to the Abruzzo side as Serse Cosmi’s future with the club is in serious doubt.

Pescara currently lie 15th in Serie B with two games to go and face another season in the second tier. Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani is evaluating the future of the current head coach and weighing up his options.

Reports in Il Tempo have Zeman as Sebastiani’s primary target as the Czech born coach took the Delfini to the Serie B title in 2011-12 and list Cittadella’s Claudio Foscarini and Davide Nicola as other potential candidates.

The club most recently tasted top flight football in 2012-13 in what was just their sixth Serie A season in the club’s history before falling back to Serie B following a season that yielded just six league wins.
