Belgian international and Napoli starlet Dries Mertens has won a bet with his father about whether the winger would score during the Belgians opening World cup match.
Mertens scored the winning goal against Algeria in a 2-1 win for the Red Devils, and the bet was if he was to score in the game against Algeria, Dries would shave his father’s mustache off.
Dries, having scored the winner, took the bet to Instagram and showed the world that ‘A Bet’s A Bet!’
