English Championship sides Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United are pondering a switch for Atalanta-owned striker Matteo Ardemagni.
The AC Milan youth product, now aged 27, has been with La Dea since 2010 but has failed to make much of an impact on the first team during his four years in Bergamo.
However, TMW understand that he could be set for a foreign move with both Blackburn and Massimo Cellino’s Leeds looking at the player with a view to snapping him up this summer.
Ardemagni has spent four different spells away from the Orobici on loan since his arrival.
His most recent move saw him join Carpi for the Serie B run-in and he scored four goals in 17 appearances and helped his side to a reasonable mid-table 12th place finish.
