Recently relegated Cardiff City look set to battle it out with Crystal Palace for Palermo striker Kyle Lafferty.

The 27 year old Northern Irishman had a solid debut season with the Sicilians, netting 11 goals, but he could be moved on as Palermo look to make changes ahead of their return to the top flight.

Tuttomercatoweb.com report that with Palermo securing the permanent signing of young starlet Andrea Belotti they will welcome offers from Palace, Cardiff and even Queens Park Rangers for Lafferty.

Cardiff are also interested in procuring Palermo shot stopper Emiliano Viviano if incumbent David Marshall seals an expected £6 million move to Arsenal.

Ironically, Viviano spent this past season on loan at the Emirates and could arrive at Cardiff if the Gunner’s get their man.
