Chelsea are reportedly considering a bid for young Inter frontman Mauro Icardi.
The English outfit secured the services of Diego Costa in the last week and are trying to boost the forward line further with the likely departures of Romelu Lukaku and Fernando Torres.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Icardi could serve as an alternative to Chelsea’s primary target Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid.
With the Spaniard in high demand it might be difficult for the Blues to get their man, in which case they could make a bid for Icardi.
Icardi became a full Inter player last week after the Nerazzurri ended their co-ownership contract with Sampdoria and bought the player outright.
Last season, Icardi scored nine goals in 22 Serie A matches.
