Inter will reportedly begin their pursuit of Torino winger Alessio Cerci in hopes of signing him this summer.

The 26-year-old has been sought after by several clubs in recent months including Manchester United and Arsenal, while Granata president Urbano Cairo has apparently already rejected bids from Roma and Everton regarding the former Fiorentina man’s transfer, and it seems the Nerazzurri are the latest team to enter the race for his signature.

According to Sportmediaset, Torino chief Cairo has set a price tag of around 20 million on the Italian international and is expected to set up a meeting with Inter to begin possible negotiations for the player’s move sometime next week.

Cerci, who joined the Toro from Fiorentina in 2012, scored 13 goals and provided 10 assists in his 37 Serie A appearances for the Turin side last term.

The winger also represented Italy at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil until their group stage exit.
