Miroslav Bicanic, agent of Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, has revealed that Inter are yet to make an offer for his client despite reports claiming otherwise.

The 21-year-old, who had been representing Croatia at this summer’s World Cup until their group stage elimination, has been linked with the Nerazzurri and Roma in recent weeks with the Milan side apparently being most interested in landing him, though his agent claims negotiations haven’t begun.

Bicanic spoke to FcInterNews.it ahead of Croatia’s exit from the World Cup about his client’s future and insisted that he hasn’t been in contact with anyone from Inter since talking to sporting director Piero Ausilio a few weeks ago.

“Two weeks ago I spoke with Ausilio about the player, but there is no special news at the moment,” said the agent.

“Since that time there has been no further contact. I read the reports from the Italian media, but at the moment there have been no more official contacts and I don’t know the actual intentions of Inter today.

“He would like to play in a major European league next season, but right now he is focused on the World Cup and will not speak with the media until he returns from Brazil.”
