AC Milan are reportedly interested in landing Manchester City’s Alvaro Negredo if Mario Balotelli leaves the Rossoneri after the World Cup.

The Azzurri striker has been linked with a move back to the Premier League after the World Cup as the Rossoneri are considering cashing in on him this summer.

Sportmediaset report that Milan have a good chance of securing the Spanish striker because of Adriano Galliani’s relationship with his agent.

Negredo scored 23 goals in 49 games for the Blues last season but was replaced in the first team in critical late season matches by Edin Dzeko.

The report states that Negredo would cost in the region of €20 million and personal terms would have to be negotiated.

Negrado has been a consistent part of the Spain national team and featured for La Furia Roja during Euro 2012, though he will not feature for the Spanish at this summer’s World Cup.
