Ashley Williams - SwanseaNapoli are reportedly looking to secure the services of Swansea City captain Ashley Williams this summer.

The 29-year-old defender, whose current contract with the Swans is set to expire in June 2015, has been linked with a possible move to several English clubs during the summer transfer window, including Arsenal, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers, though it seems the Partenopei are willing to make a serious offer for him in the coming months.

According to Sky Sports UK, Napoli have been closely monitoring the transfer situation of the Welsh international, who is currently on holiday in Sardinia, and may try to make a move for him once the World Cup comes to a close as his future with the Jacks is expected to be determined by then.

The central defender joined Swansea from Stockport County in 2008 and has scored a total of 12 goals in his 252 appearances for them since his arrival, with one goal coming in his 34 Premier League appearances last term.
