Paris Saint-Germain will reportedly make a bid for AC Milan defender Ignazio Abate this summer.

The Ligue 1 giants have apparently abandoned their original pursuit of Barcelona defender Dani Alves due to the Spanish side’s high asking price in relation to his age and could now be preparing an offer for the 27-year-old Rossoneri man instead.

According to Le Parisien, PSG may be willing to make a bid of 10 million for the Italian international in the coming weeks.

The Diavolo are supposedly very open to striking a deal with the French side and reports suggest that the negotiation process could be an easy one based on the fact that the right-back is represented by agent Mino Raiola, who also represents PSG star and former Milan man Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Abate, who came up through the AC Milan youth academy before making his professional debut for the club in 2004, scored one goal in his 19 Serie A appearances for the Italian giants last term.
