Real Madrid are turning their attentions to Italy to find a replacement for Alvaro Morata, who looks set to leave the side, and their latest options include Domencio Berardi of Juventus and Roma’s Mattia Destro.

The Merengues have been linked with a host of young and upcoming forwards around the European Leagues ranging from Real Sociedad’s Antoine Griezmann, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette and Hamburg’s Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

According to Marca, Destro is deemed already mature enough for a move to the Santiago Bernabeu. As for Berardi, they list him as a future capocannoniere who clearly has a bright future and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti would be the perfect figure to nurture his talent.

Both Berardi and Destro have enjoyed stellar seasons in Serie A, with Berardi scoring sixteen Serie A goals for minnows Sassuolo whereas Destro scored thirteen goals in just twenty games and was surprisingly left out of Italy’s World Cup squad.
