Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has stated that the Rosaneri are selling striker Kyle Lafferty because due to his ‘womanizing’ lifestyle .

The Sicilian club are fresh from their promotion to the Serie A but it seems the Northern Ireland striker does not fit into the clubs plans as Zamparini confirmed that coach Giuseppe Iachini has asked that the striker be sold due to his lifestyle.

“At the request of my coach (Iachini) Lafferty is for sale, we spoke at the end of last season and he asked me to sell the player,” he confirmed to Radio 24.

“He is unmanageable, a womanizer who disappears for a week to visit women in Milan. He has two families with six children and from that point of view his behaviour is unmanageable and therefore he must leave.”

Lafferty, who joined Palermo from Swiss club Sion, is on the verge of joining English championship club Norwich City after scoring 11 goals in 33 games for the Rosanero.
