Roma have signed AC Milan’s full back Urby Emanuelson on a free transfer.
It is thought that Emanuelson will challenge for the left back spot with Roma’s other new arrival Ashley Cole.
The Dutchman will receive a one year contract, earning €1.2 million, which will expire on June 2015.
The agreement also gives Roma the option to extend Emanuelson’s contract by another two seasons.
The 28-year-old made 24 appearances last term for the Rossoneri without scoring, but did make three assists.
