AC Milan have contacted Paris Saint-Germain over a potential move for Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The 29-year-old Argentine has had an impressive two seasons in France, earning plaudits for his direct style of play and blistering pace, but is thought to be considering a move back to Italy after leaving Napoli in 2012.

According to SportItalia, Lavezzi is in the process of negotiating terms on a new deal with the French club but is yet to rule out a return to Italy. Milan were previously interested in Hellas Verona starlet, Juan Manuel Iturbe, but the 21-year-old now looks set to opt for a move to Juventus.

Lavezzi has notched 23 goals and 18 assists in two seasons for PSG and developed into one of the European football’s most dangerous wingers during his five-year spell at Napoli.
