AC Milan will make another attempt to sign Rubin Kazan midfield star Roman Eremenko in the coming weeks.
The 27 year old Finnish international has developed into one of the best players in the Russian League, but with Rubin finishing 9th in the Premier League last season and the lack of European football next season, they are looking to reduce their wage bill.
Milannews.it reports that after Milan conclude a swap deal with Genoa involving Alessandro Matri and Sime Vrsaljko in the coming days, they will fully turn their attention to enticing Eremenko to the club.
Curiously Eremenko’s midfield partner at Rubin, French star Yann M’Vila, looks set to join Milan’s city rivals Inter as well in the coming week.
