The agent of Giuseppe Rossi has responded to former Italy coach Cesare Prandelli, after the latter described the Fiorentina man as “the person who disappointed me most from a human point of view.”
Rossi was controversially omitted from Prandelli’s squad for the World Cup despite scoring 16 goals in 21 Serie A games this season.
Speaking to TuttoMercatoWeb, Rossi’s agent Andrea Pastorello responded to Prandelli’s recent criticism of the Fiorentina striker after the striker hit out at being omitted from Italy’s World Cup squad.
“I take note of his words,” Pastorello stated.
“However, as I’ve done up until this point, I choose not to comment. If the situation were to continue, then further down the line we may have something to say”.
Rossi himself was critical in the wake of his omission, taking to Twitter to counter suggestions he was left out because he was fearful of suffering another knee injury.
