The agent of Lazio star Antonio Candreva has moved to dismiss rumours that the Italian international is on the verge of joining Juventus.

Candreva was Lazio’s top scorer last season with 12 goals which has garnered him attention from clubs around Europe with Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal previously linked, but it seems new Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has asked for the exciting winger personally.

Despite the reports, Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia that a move away from the Biancoceleste is not in the cards as Lazio president Claudio Lotito does not want to sell the Italian international.

“Two or three offers have arrived, but so far Lazio have resisted.

“Of course he is ambitious and wants to play the Champions League, that is normal, but he has never asked to leave Lazio.”

“How much would he cost? Over €30 million at least, he may even be non-transferable. Lotito is resisting all offers at the moment but we will see what happens in the future.”

Lazio would be reluctant to sell their star player having lost previous superstar Hernanes to Inter in January.
