Fabrizio Ferrari, agent of Yann M’Vila, has revealed his player took a large pay cut in order to seal his loan move to Inter, and also turned down interest from Liverpool and Dinamo Moscow.

M’Vila completed a year-long loan move to the San Siro from Russian side Rubin Kazan on Tuesday, with Inter retaining an option to make the switch permanent next summer.

“We closed last night at 1am on a conference call, there was me, [Inter] sporting director Piero Ausilio and [Rubin Kazan director general Andrey] Gromov,” said Ferrari on Wednesday, speaking to FcInterNews.it.

“At 6:30 this morning [Tuesday] the long-awaited fax signed by Rubin arrived from Russia, who gave the green light to pass M’Vila to Inter.”

Ferrari went on to reveal the sacrifices the 24-year-old midfielder made in order to push the deal through.

“Yann gave up a lot of money in this deal because he only wanted Inter,” said the Italian agent.

“Inter wanted the boy and the player had chosen the Nerazzurri.

“Liverpool and Dinamo Moscow wanted him, but he immediately chose the Nerazzurri.”
