Argentina’s Lionel Messi was seen to vomit during last night’s World Cup final against Germany at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Arguably the world’s best footballer has suffered from these episodes all season and it is still a mystery as to why this continues to happen on the field of play.
Both his club doctors at Barcelona and his national team medics have failed to find the cause for his sickness and this recent bout of throwing up occurred during the first half of the match.
The Germans went on to win the match 1-0 in extra-time, after a super strike by substitute Mario Goetze.
