Juan Iturbe VeronaRoma’s new signing Juan Manuel Iturbe has expressed his joy at joining the Giallorossi from Hellas Verona.

The youngster was spotted at the Piazza Augusto Imperatore on Wednesday night ahead of his medical with the Giallorossi.

“I am happy to be here,” the youngster revealed during his brief stop as reported by tuttomercatoweb.com.

Iturbe represents the latest of Rudi Garcia’s summer signings, joining the Lupi from Hellas Verona for a reported fee €24.5 million.

Having played a single season with the Mastini while making 33 appearances and scoring eight goals, the Argentina-born had been linked with a host of clubs this summer before committing his future to Roma for five seasons.

He will join Ashley Cole, Urby Emanuelson and Seydou Keita in the Giallorossi squad for next season as Garcia hopes to push the team from second to first place in Serie A.
