Arsenal may end their interest in AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli as the Italian striker is reportedly demanding huge wages if he is to return to the Premier League for the London club.

The Gunners registered their interest for Balotelli after hearing that he would be allowed to leave AC Milan this summer and following a breakdown in talks over a potential move for Loic Remy. However, it now appears that Arsenal may not be willing to meet the former Manchester City striker’s €125,000 wage demands.

The Daily Mail are reporting that Arsenal are still interested in a move for the 23-year-old but will look to negotiate the wages as they will also be required to pay Milan in the region of €30 million to secure his signature.

Speculation over Balotelli’s future has been rife but he was included in Filipo Inazghi’s 31-man squad for AC Milan’s tour of the USA and is due back to train with the club soon.
