Arsenal are reportedly readying a transfer bid of €20 million and personal terms for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli.
After securing the services of Chilean Alexis Sanchez, Gunners coach Arsene Wenger is looking to bolster his much maligned strike force as he looks to get Balotelli back in England for a second spell having spent two and a half seasons with current English champions Manchester City.
CaughtOffside.com reports that the Premier League side are willing to offer €20m for the player, and make him the highest paid member of the Arsenal squad with a weekly wage of €193,000 per week, if the deal does come to fruition.
The former Inter man will also get his favoured number 45 shirt.
Balotelli’s time in England was marred with many controversies both on and off the field. He was sold to the Rossoneri in January, 2013 and has scored 26 goals in 43 Serie A appearances.
