English giants Arsenal will start negotiations with Catania over the transfer of Gino Peruzzi.
The Gunners have turned to the Rossazzurri right back in an attempt to bolster the side for the upcoming season after completing the signings of Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy respectively.
According to Sky Sport, Argentine right-back Peruzzi is next on the North London club’s transfer list, with negotiations between both sides set to take place in the upcoming week.
The 22-year-old made the move to Sicily in August 2013, making 23 appearances in a season which saw Catania relegated to Serie B.
