Fiorentina are closing in on the signature of Atalanta star Giacomo Bonaventura.
The 24 year old Italian international had another superb season at the Bergamo club, netting seven goals in 35 games.
La Nazione report that Fiorentina are only a step away from an agreement, with an offer of €6 million plus the loan of Polish youngster Rafael Wolski being accepted.
The deal would come hot on the heels of Fiorentina signing Newcastle Jets’ Australian midfielder/defender Josh Brillante.
Bonaventura stated his desire to move to a bigger club at the end of the season and his wish looks set to be completed in the coming weeks.
